“Great family friendly cottage”
Reviewed 3 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Variety of things to do nearby- plenty of gentle walks to take in the views. Everywhere will be a drive away (but these drives are not far for Scotland) and you are in coffee shop/cake shop territory, with loads of pretty villages for great afternoons out. St Andrews is less than 40 minutes away by car and is great for history, food and shopping. The cottage is lovely, clean and well kept. The kitchen is big and well stocked. We stayed as a four, and for us this was the perfect size cottage. The owners are very kind and thoughtful and are on hand if you need anything at all, and not just in case of an emergency. If you want rural, but with the options of doing day trips to Edinburgh/St Andrews, nice walks and life at a gentle pace this cottage could work very well for you

“Fantastic holiday cottage”
Reviewed 6 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

I booked the cottage for a long weekend with my mum and my 18-month old daughter. Alison sent us all the information we needed before we arrived and answered all the questions I had, including where we would be able to find fireworks displays locally. She greeted us when we arrived and told us how everything in the cottage worked. There was a really helpful information pack in the cottage and plenty leaflets with ideas about things to do and places to eat.

The cottage is clean, well looked-after and well equipped. The linens were all fresh and neat. There was even a carton of milk in the fridge for us when we arrived. The cottage was not expensive and was perfect for us. Alison even left a stair gate and some toys for my wee one and invited us to join their family bonfire in the evening. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

“Lovely cottage, comfy beds and extremely well equipped”
Reviewed 29 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Just had a 5 night stay here and the cottage is perfect. Extremely clean, well equipped and well positioned for visiting my relative in Falkland but also for sightseeing around Fife.

The beds are very comfortable and the owner, Alison, gives you a lovely warm welcome. I would highly recommend this cottage.

We found our stay at home on the farm to be very satisfying. Great location and within easy drive of most places. Lovely house kept together well, great facilities for a s/c accommodation. Alison and husband were very helpful.
