Called in to The Kings Head at lunchtime on a Saturday and a Sunday whilst visiting Llandovery.
We were greeted by the friendly barman who I think may have been the landlord, and offered a table and some menus. He also took our drinks order so we didn't need to go to the bar.
The food was good and the atmosphere relaxed.
On Sunday, the Sunday lunch was excellent value, although my son's chicken korma was a little on the pricey side at £12.95, but it was well presented, tasty and good quality so no complaints.
I had a pint of Doom Bar ale and it was one of the best pints I've had in a long time. So many pubs serve real ales ice cold which totally spoils them. This pint was served at just the right temperature.
A nice pub, well worth a visit.
