“Pretty, well equiped house in an interesting location”
Reviewed 16 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

The cottage was very nicely decorated, equiped and furnished and very clean. It also warmed up very quickly when the heating was on.
There were 5 of us for the last few nights but we never felt too cramped (the working outside loo came in handy though).
I was worried there would be a lot of noise as the house is mid terrace on quite a busy road, but we never heard any noise from the neighbours and the double glazing is good quality and nobody had their sleep disturbed by the road (there aren't many cars at night anyway). There is car parking at the end of the very tranquil, long garden.
There are good walks straight from the house with lovely views, and great walks, cycle rides and beaches within an hours drive. I'd also recommend the cycle ride from Ystalyfera to the Mumbles and back which is 20+ miles each way on the cycle track beside the river and around Swansea bay. The 10 mile Amma valley cycleway is even closer following the river down from Brynamman (about 2 miles from the cottage) to Ammanford.
We were made to feel very welcome with wine, welsh cakes and welsh jam waiting for us on arrival.
Overall a very good experience.

“Perfect, Cozy home from home”
Reviewed 10 December 2015 for a stay in November 2015

We found the place very charming and well equipped. Both ourselves and the dog loved the surrounding walks and long garden and both Beverley and Caron the housekeeper were extremely welcoming.

We were greeted with some lovely wine and Welsh-cakes and even the dog was given some lovely treats thank you Caron!

I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a cozy break in a very warm and homely cottage with many activities to enjoy nearby.
