My husband and I visited this travelodge yesterday and we were very impressed with the service we received, Richard was on duty when we arrived and was so helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and had three windows, with a sea view. Despite being by the roadside, you cant hear the traffic and we had a great nights stay. Parking is a breeze at the adjacent bay view shopping centre and staff validate your ticket when leaving, so it's free. I often visit North Wales for a day trip, but decided to stay over and was majority impressed with this well run hotel. We took a walk into town and along the bay as well. The town is lovely and has lots of shops for a mooch and a few nice coffee shops too. The coastline is spectacular here and the beach is so clean and lovely to stroll upon with mountains in the background. It was so good, that I've booked again for another trip later this month.. If you are visiting North Wales this is an excellent base and my sincere thanks to the staff for their professionalism and welcome.

Stopped two nights January 2016. Warm welcome from staff, and clean comfortable room. Conveniently situated for A55 Coast Road. Large Shopping Complex opposite
for provisions if required. Dined out at Weatherspoons about 12 minutes walk away.
Did not come across any other similar type eating places in the town centre.
Cars are parked in the shopping centre car park opposite, which is well lit all night
and can be watched from rooms on the West side of the Lodge.
Car park is 24 hour barrier controlled . Get ticket validated at Reception for auto free exit. No restrictions on entry / exit times.
Our only disappointment was the continued Travelodge policy of charging for Wi-Fi time in excess of 30 minutes. ( This is hardly enough to log in and search for a local restaurant! ) ££ charges for additional log in time. One should not have to go outside to another establishment for unlimited free Wi-Fi. Not everyone has a smart Phone.
Get Real Travelodge.

Room tip: Keep watch on your car from rooms facing shopping complex car park. However, early morning delivery lorries will pass in the road outside.

Located very close to the train station - about a five minutes walk.
Friendly and welcoming receptionist - a local girl Sara, who had super local knowledge and advice on where to eat and what to do and see.
As with all Travelodge hotels, my room was basic but spotlessly clean and cheerfully decorated.
The bed was large and comfortable.
The bathroom had a large powerful shower but with a curtain instead of a screen !!!
Excellent value.
