“Nice cottage”

The cottage was lovely. The boiler was temperamental, although I am sure the owner will be looking into this. All clean and tidy. Nice welcome pack and even biscuits for the dog. It was a bit further to Rhosneigr than we were expecting but that is probably our fault for not checking. Absolutely bone chillingly cold on arrival but soon warmed up when we got the boiler going. Having the toilet downstairs was a little inconvenient in the middle of the night but again, this was clear on the spec so can't complain.

Management Response
5 Jan 2015
We appreciate your feedback on the cottage but ideally would of liked to be informed of any issues with the boiler during your stay so that we could of had the opportunity to rectify it.
We appologise that you found the cottage cold on arrival. We do not normally leave the heating on when the property is vacant, but it is important to us that our guests are comfortable when staying and so this is why we provide, additionally to the central heating, 3 oil filled radiators, throws for the beds and a complementary fire starter pack for the coal fire during winter.

Such a lovely cottage and is bigger than the pictures look. The cottage was very clean and we liked the location as it was very quiet. We took our dog and she loved sitting in front of the real fire every night.
Highly recommend

“Homely and welcoming”
Reviewed 26 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

We stayed at this cottage for our anniversary in November 2014, it was beautifully decorated, with authentic open beams and the log fire (that warmed up the whole cottage!) the cottage was very homely, comfortable and welcoming.

I have already recommended the cottage to a number of friends!

“perfect holiday cottage”
Reviewed 20 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Just returned from short break here. The cottage has everything to make a cosy home from home. Scrupulously clean and comfortable, welcome pack was really appreciated, and the dogs enjoyed some of the biscuits. We walked the dogs locally, and also went further afield to South Stack and Holyhead. Would highly recommend and hope to return in the Spring to explore more of Anglesey, thanks very much to the owner.

Clean family cottage, lovely quiet area with cows in the field at bottom of the garden. 5 year old daughter loved the window seat in the main bedroom and also buying eggs from a few houses down the road. half hour drive from most places on the island. Enjoyed greenwood forest adventure park great family day out also sea zoo was good. Lots of beaches to choose from trearddur bay was beautiful. Thank you to Yvonne for the warm welcome and essentials left for us. Would recommend a stay here, lovely quiet country cottage.
