“Amazing place, peace, tranquility, first class all round”
Reviewed 19 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Llys Hendy cottage is without a doubt the best self-catering property we have ever stayed in both in the UK and abroad. Tina and Adrian have created a first class cottage which is decorated to a high standard with beautiful furnishings and accessories. I have to say they are two of the nicest people you could wish to meet and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure you have everything you need for a wonderful relaxing holiday. The little treats of welsh cakes, homemade bread, butter, eggs, homemade jam, cereals etc is such a lovely touch. They have taken a great pride in thinking out every aspect of what is needed for a self catering break. The cottage was spotless and in such a beautiful tranquil setting, the private garden area outside is an amazing plus. I would highly recommend this holiday rental to anyone without any reservations. Thanks once again Tina and Adrian.

“Very high spec cottage stay!!”
Reviewed 8 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

We stayed for 2 nights in this very well finished cottage. It looked exactly as it did in the photos online which is no mean feat! It is also worth mentioning that there was milk, eggs, butter and bread when we got there which was very thoughtful.

Access to the local areas is quite easy, with Lake Vyrnwy about 45 min drive, Powis Castle about 15 mins drive.

We ate in one of the evenings (kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils etc) and on the second night went to the Bull and Heifer about 5 mins drive down the road.

Would have been 5 stars but the heating was a bit confusing so we ended up cold in the morning and rather hot at night!

Liked best: High spec finish overall
Liked least: Overly soft pillows and lack of reading lamps downstairs

“A Perfect Escape!”
Reviewed 7 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Llys Hendy Cottage provided the perfect idyllic break for the Easter weekend. The cottage itself has been built to an extremely high standard and had all the necessities and more. On our arrival Tina and Adrian provided a warm welcome and were more than happy to help us / advise us about anything during our stay. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside, which we enjoyed exploring and the maps provided at the cottage were very useful in doing so. We had an extremely enjoyable stay and would recommend this property to anyone!

“Peaceful”
Reviewed 29 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

llys hendy cottage is lovely and cosy which definitely kept us warm. All the rooms are clean and tidy the only thing I'd say is that the kitchen doesn't have a lot of space to put food away or to move about. The location is quiet and peaceful even though it is right on the road but it is a very quiet country road. It would be better if you have a car as there are many places to visit which we could not get to. We did walk to the closest village which is two miles away which has a great pub with amazing food. Overall we really enjoyed our stay over the new year and would recommend it to anyone.

“Perfect Hosts!”
Reviewed 15 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

A fantastic place to stay. Highest quality furnishings, fixtures and decor we've seen. And we've stayed in many good quality holiday cottages.

Tina and Adrian were extremely helpful, especially when our car broke down!

The tea, coffee, milk, butter, eggs, wine etc were very welcome and quite a surprise.

Very generous hosts. A beautiful location. We will be back!
