We visited with friends the other evening. The food was very good, well presented and tasted fine. The menu is quite small which means the chef can concentrate on the food. The selection of Entrees and Main courses were varied and interesting. I feel a choice of only two deserts is a bit restrictive.
When we were asked if we wanted deserts we were not given a choice, four Apple and Cinnamon crumbles arrived.
The main courses do not come with vegetables, these have to be purchased in addition to the set price. We felt that was over the top, so did not order any on principle.
The food is good, the service is fine but at $55 for three courses plus vegetables plus corkage it does not represent good value for money. If you were to order vegetables and leave a small tip you would be out of pocket $130 (for food only) for a couple.
If there were linen table clothes and napkins set in a nice room with a view the pricing would be about right. But you are in a suburban shopping centre forecourt, with paper napkins and a view of the Aldi trolleys, the Butcher Shop and the IGA.
