We visited with friends the other evening. The food was very good, well presented and tasted fine. The menu is quite small which means the chef can concentrate on the food. The selection of Entrees and Main courses were varied and interesting. I feel a choice of only two deserts is a bit restrictive.

When we were asked if we wanted deserts we were not given a choice, four Apple and Cinnamon crumbles arrived.

The main courses do not come with vegetables, these have to be purchased in addition to the set price. We felt that was over the top, so did not order any on principle.

The food is good, the service is fine but at $55 for three courses plus vegetables plus corkage it does not represent good value for money. If you were to order vegetables and leave a small tip you would be out of pocket $130 (for food only) for a couple.

If there were linen table clothes and napkins set in a nice room with a view the pricing would be about right. But you are in a suburban shopping centre forecourt, with paper napkins and a view of the Aldi trolleys, the Butcher Shop and the IGA.

Westleigh and surrounds are very lucky to have such a high quality chef in their neighbourhood. Ryan is a returned expat and top level chef who brings his expertise to Westleigh (his new locale) after working at a leading international restaurant for several years. His menu changes regularly and he brings you well-designed and beautifully cooked courses. It is genuine fine dining at one of the best price points for 2 or 3 courses you will ever find. It is also BYO. There are so few restaurants of this calibre in the adjacent suburbs so you must always try and book a day ahead to be sure of a table.

Absolutely brilliant food. Service great too. Hidden gem for sure. Will be back. Rare to get good food and service and BYO for a great price.
