Poor service but good food. Staff could care less. Lots of staff around but very few actually waiting tables.

A lot of yummy mummies in gym gear with expensive designer prams sipping on expensive watery coffee.

Probably not my first choice of a dining experience in Woollahra.

OK - well it was there when we first moved in up the road. Massive housewarming - needed bread next day for stragglers' breakfast - quick stagger to village - remaining brain cells saw the 'grocer' on Jones the Grocer sign so...directed by proud but kinda haughty guy to racks of Art Gallery Quality bread FOR SEVEN BUCKS A LOAF and when I asked where the normal bread was, he goes: O, you'll have to go down the ROAD for THAT... anyway, they're gone now but you can still buy bread for 7 bucks a loaf in Queen Street, if you want :-)

Every thing Jones the grocer sells is top notch .
The best sardines , tuna in cans pates , bread, hams , all delicatessen stuff that's par excellence. The best chocolate , the best fruit. The best cakes and cookies. Hand made pasta of all varieties. The best cheeses , if you want the best , jones the grocer is the best , they have everything that's good in food.

The cheese room is extensive and the guy that helped me pick some cheeses had a good understanding of what I wanted and of the cheeses to take back to our accommodation on offer that would suit.
