Wasn’t aware you needed to pre purchase a ticket to enter the powder magazine. Couldn’t be bothered going back to town so we gave it a miss. Had a short walk around the outside, nice old building.

You need to purchase a slide in key card from the information centre, but when we went in April no light show or sound show was going, they said the weather had done something to the electrics and they were waiting to get it fixed, so needed a torch to see anything. wouldnt waste the money to go inside at the moment

A wonderful experience, an original gun power magazine for the mining of gold back in the mid 1800's. The magazine went into disrepair but has been renovated by the National Trust.
