Great place for kids to get a better understanding of Australian history. Has a good little cafe if you need somewhere to stop for lunch.

Thank Annette B

I enjoyed my visit to this place. It was nicely set out and easy to follow. I learned a bit about Aboriginal art from some of the short videos. There was also a sound track of the noise of the fires which hit the area in 2011 including very good explanations of how fire and floods affect the area. Well worth a visit.

We'd definitely recommend stopping for a few hours at this place....and if you have time, also have lunch here, the sampler platter is great. Before arriving, we expected to spend < 1 hour here. However, after walking around the grounds, reading a lot of the exhibits, sitting in the couple short movies and then having lunch, we spent half the day! Any regrets? Nope!

Great activities for the kids, they decorated boomerangs that they could actually throw.

Nice cafè, had a yummy iced coffee after a 4-hour hike to the Pinnacle. Gift shop is nice if a little overpriced. Wi-fi available, although not for free. Didn't make it to the cultural centre, but the visitor information is very well stocked with maps and leaflets about the area and have the latest updates on conditions in the area (fire, floodings, etc)
