I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel over the Queen's Birthday long weekend in a deluxe king room.

The mattress was a bit tired, but the room was acceptable. What made it for me was the swimming pool and the gym. Nice additions not normally included in a hotel for this price ($140 a night).

The cherry on the cake was the complimentary breakfast. I thought this would just be continental breakfast, but it included hot breakfast (and all you can eat as well).

The location was good. Not too close to the main street, so as to avoid noise. Not too far as to be inconvenient to walk to (and if you do find it too far then there is always the shopping centre car park where you can drive to, park and then walk to the main street from).

Oh, and one tip. I had two keys cut for the room. Make sure that you check both keys when you enter the room for the first time, as one worked but I discovered later on that the other needed to be "re-cut". I would hate this to happen to anyone late at night and the reception be closed. I saw this happen to another guest as well, which makes me think this could be a common occurrence.

That said, I will definitely consider this hotel again, the next time I am heading down the Mornington Peninsula.

Comfortable room but they need to use more experienced staff - waitresses too busy chatting with each other to worry about clearing tables or making sure enough eggs or coffee available at breakfast! Housekeeping seemed the same. Wouldnt stay again!

I stay here when I travel To the burbs of Melbourne on business. It’s no Hilton but is pleasant , quiet and reasonable value for money. Generally have a good night sleep here and the beds are good.
For a 3-4 star accomodation it’s a good spot.

I stayed here recently with my sister on a family trip. The customer service in reception was very poor and house keeping did an average job- there was a lot of dust inside the room lamps. No apologies were offered after bringing these issues up with management. We absolutely loved exploring the Mornington Peninsular but would reccommend staying elsewhere.

Location quiet but a bit of a walk out of the town centre. Pleasant ambiance with landscaped gardens. Stayed in a king room which had a semi-private courtyard with table and chairs. Room furnished to a high quality but numerous small maintenance issues (reported to Reception) give an impression that they don't pay attention to everything or are cost-cutting. Breakfast buffet okay but again fails on details e.g. pastries are all cut in half which just looked stingy.
