This is the only place in Rosebud and surrounding area that accommodates for wheelchairs and not only in terms of access but generally it is wheelchair friendly in terms of toilet and bathroom/shower, door / hallway access. Nice balcony in backyard and large yard for kids to play. However, the house states it has air-conditioning - this is only in 1 bedroom which does not reach anywhere else in the house, and not in the wheelchair friendly bedroom/bathroom. Most people with disabilities are usually effected by the heat. The windows in the entire house are locked - not only is this a safety issue, but you are unable to get fresh air in any of the bedrooms; pedestal fans were inadequate on the very hot we had. We were happy to bring extra linen for the sofa bed, which really is quite small (not suitable for 2 adults), but were not told we needed to bring pillows. There was no spare linen or towels in the slightest - again, for children or people with a disability, generally accidents may occur. Lastly, the lounge area is so small, that it is not possible to fit 6-8 people (the maximum that the house can hold) - therefore, we were not able to relax and watch a movie together. To top it off, the owner was extremely rude and inappropriately spoke over the phone, not taking responsibility for anything including how unclear the booking process was via the website (owner stated they are not responsible for what appears to be their only website) / pricing in various confirmation emails was incorrect (even though we verbally agreed on another higher price, that I was happy to pay) / timing of deposit (I had to ask when it was going to be taken) - the price was then corrected over the phone when I was making the deposit as my credit card apparently did not work online / linen (I had to ask twice). Terrible customer service, something I have never experienced in all my travels around the world!
