Arrived around 1:30pm to see the last 3 pies and pastie just removed from the pie heater for an order. We were told not to worry, they had more out back! What they didn't tell us was that they needed to be reheated by microwave. Very disappointed 5 minutes later to receive rubbery crust pies and pasties. If they told us they were microwaving we would have gone elsewhere.

We waited for 20 minutes and had to ask when our food may be coming. It then took another 10 minutes. They weren't busy and it was all prepared in the cabinet.
The chicken wraps were dry and not particularly enjoyable.
The beef and mushroom pie was pink and without any trace of a mushroom. It was inedible. When we queried if it was a beef and mushroom pie, we were told "Yes it. It looks like that. They look a bit weird - I don't really eat them." What a worry! She then explained that bakery were serving these pies until their normal supplier reopens. Hopefully this means that their 'usual' supplier has a better quality product.
The party pies were a hit. We didn't bother with any of their sweet selections.
Very disappointing for such a beautiful spot.

Stopped here to have brunch but the breakfast menu was not available because other Cafes were closed!?
Had a veggie slice that wasn't warmed through enough and rather bland, as was the salted caramel cheesecake (bland). Coffee was good, service was without smiles. Not cheap either.

They don't actually bake anything here, nothing's fresh all bought in. Average bakery food. Have some lovely little trinkets for you to browse and buy. The girls are missing something in the brain. When I asked for two glasses of milk for my kids she actually said " what do you mean by glasses of milk". I proceeded to say it again but she just looked confused so I had to explain how to pour milk into a glass therefore giving you a glass of milk!!' Will not be going back!
