Went here after the Secret City 5k race, and it was a cold morning out there. So a hot bowl of soup really hit the spot! The chili is a mainstay, always good, but they usually have 7 or 8 others to pick from that rotate all the time. I had the Italian, which is a soup version of pasta with italian sausage. Another favorite if the mexican cornbread, if you're like me and prefer a little spice.
I do have a non-soup eater in my family, so luckily they have great sandwiches, as well and grilled cheese and hot dog options for the kids if needed.
Come have a bowl of soup, but while you're there also take some time to look at the walls full of great history of our area.
