We visited Dollywood on the Friday and Saturday before Easter and was very impressed. The park is clean and employees are easily the friendliest staff you'll ever meet. Dollywood is decorated beautifully and each section is different. The shows were magnificent. We enjoyed them all but loved the National Dance Company of Siberia to the point we saw it an additional time during our visit. The food selections at the park are nothing less than spectacular. The portions are large and the value is ok. If you have a gold season pass, the 20% discount you get on everything easily pays for itself in 2 visits. The park was very crowded on Saturday and the ride wait times were long but if you pay extra you get to go to the front of the line with a "fast pass" or something like that. We didn't do that as I personally am not a fan of that theory, but I can see that as a big money maker and therefore it makes sense. We were very, very impressed with this park and would recommend this to anyone who is looking for true family fun.

We had a great time. My only complaint is that this is the third time I’ve been since the Lightning Rod has opened, and I still haven’t been able to ride the Lightning Rod. I actually boarded the ride, and then they evacuated everyone. The ride was only open for less than an hour. Other than that everything was great. We always love going to Dollywood!

My sons loved the roller coasters. We ended up having to purchase the pass to bypass the lines (an additional $35 each). Otherwise, we would have been waiting in lines for hours. We ate at the diner. It was fine. Typical overpriced amusement park food. The park itself is beautiful.

Rides were great. Lines weren't too long on most rides. Bathrooms were clean. Food and drinks expensive but that was expected in an amusement park. Staff very friendly. Lots of things for little kids (3yo) to do.

My husband and I spent our 14 wedding anniversary the opening weekend at Dollywood. Enjoyed watching the performers from around the world. Especially loved the steel drums and Jigjam. We ate at the buffet with the amazing chicken, best mashed potatoes, and the best Arnold Palmer I have ever had. Our waitress Charlie was spectacular and James was very attentive in clearing the tables. The staff was amazing... friendly... knowledgeable about events to see in Pigeon Forge and spoke very highly about working at Dollywood. Its great visiting a place where the employees love to go to work.
