After having other camping plans fall through I sought out an alternative place to stay on-line. So thankful I ran across Mountain Glen! We knew the weather was going to be rainy and generally gross, but my family of 4 was determined! With a 6 year old daughter and our son and his friend, both 15, it was important that there be things inside to do. For my husband and I it was all about the great outdoors, cooking over the fire and fishing. Mountain Glen didn't disappoint! The kids enjoyed the game room and playground (during the brief moments it didn't rain) and we even managed to do a little adventuring down the beautiful lake and running streams. Absolutely gorgeous! During the day we had plenty of area attractions like Fall Creek Falls and a little further south, Chattanooga.
The facilities were immaculate! The laundry rooms and private baths were pristine and modern. The staff were friendly, communicative and very helpful. A little off the beaten path, but isn't that the point of getting away? You're not going to find this type of scenery or hospitality on a major highway.Well worth the trip!
