I come for the pupusas--they are great. Not American take off on pupusas, but the real thing. Very reasonably priced. The tacos and other plates always look good, but I've not had them. They always have fresh juice--tamarind and 2-3 others. I eat there about once a week--2 pupusas & drink, less than $10.

Visited on a Friday night right at closing time. Service was quick and friendly. We had pupusas and tacos with slaw. It was all great and the prices seemed to low for the quality . Definitely worth the stop in Springfield if you want the real deal. Nothing like the Americanized Mexican restaurants.

I ate there for lunch. Had chicken tacos and beans and real coke in the bottle. Some best I've had anywhere.

This tiny place has wonderfully delicious food! Very reasonable prices and you get plenty to eat, too.

Stopped by here on a Thursday night, thinking it would be Mexican food. There is that, but this is a couple from El Salvador, and it is a Pupuseria y Taqueria.

The cuisine is both Central American and Mexican , and the featured entree is a line of Salvadoran Pupusas. These delicious, hand-made, authentic masa cakes are filled with meat, beans and other delicious flavorings. A unique and tasty treat!

The service is exceptional. You'll also notice local Hispanic families dropping by to pick up take-out meals. The prices are exceptionally affordable--We had more than we could eat for a total bill of $16.45.

There is no alcohol served. It is a family--friendly environment, attractively decorated, not fancy, but down-to-earth, home-like, and comfortable. There was a TV playing Spanish language voice-overs of a German soap opera.

We recommend this for the unique food, excellent service and food quality, and an experience we are still looking forward to repeat.
