Such a wonderful excursion. Didn’t realize this wonderful place is so close to our home in SA. Exciting tour by Pamela who showed and talked about all the special features. She was great with explaining things to our 2 young daughters who both really enjoyed the whole tour. Liked the gift shop. Our girls are showing all their friends the rocks they purchased. We will be back.
Thanks for a good afternoon.

Thank Susan B

Hidden treasure! The guide was fabulous- great with young children and teenagers. We learned a lot about the local history.

Was very pleased to find this gem! Its not commercialized, no heavy sales pitches to purchase anything, just an informative guide & a natural cavern system - just what we wanted!

It took us awhile to actually find this place from the highway and actually considered turning around. But I am very happy that we did not! The place does need a bit more to do on their property besides the trails we were advised to go to when waiting for our tour to start.

We were very happy that the tour guide Kathy was willing to fit our family of 17 in a group. The guide kept the tour very entertaining and made all of us feel very welcomed. Even the kids were interested and stayed on her heels the whole time not wanting to miss anything.

We didn’t expect them to be so busy on Black Friday, but all the staff were very nice and tried to make it an experience to remember. My family is from Laredo and Mexico, so we are very happy that it was a tour the whole family could enjoy.

I would say go to this tour expecting to see a true country gem. It’s tucked away and not so busy and overwhelming. Their cave is smaller than the others around but a lot of history and hard work has made the cave what it is.

We took our 15mo through the caves in a front facing carrier ((backpack style carriers are prohibited due to the low parts in the caverns)) We had a great time exploring these caves & seeing some critters too. ((Bats, tadpoles, and salamanders)) Our tour guide did a great job and kept us well entertained & gave us lots of info along the the way. Our little one also loved the big T-Rex by the gift shop. The antique admissions building and walk way were neat seeing & learning about the history behind the caverns.
