I am not used to finding a jar of pickles for $12. These pickles would have to be off-scale for taste or quality to cover the prices. A pickle is sort of a commodity item and not a gourmet item. This is mainly an antique store like so many others on Main Street in Boerne and has couple of shelves of locally made pickles as well.

Was in Boerne for one night and did a little window shopping before dinner and stopped by. Very friendly shopkeep and love the smell of pickles when you walk in. We of course bought a jar of the spicy and did some browsing. A small shop but they have some nice antiques. Did not find anything I could not live without but enjoyed the stop.

We were just browsing along the street in Boerne and stopped in here thinking we would find some antique items, but it was mostly reproductions with some antiques scattered in between. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but we had a hard time finding anything worth actually purchasing. I would not label this a tourist trap, but it was close. Items were greatly over priced as well.

The also sell Fickle Pickles. We did not buy any, but did eat a couple of samples and they seemed to be very good! So, if you want pickles, give them at try! I just recommend you steer clear of their other items.

My, my, my. Reviewing a pickle shop...well, you have to try these things to see why people in Texas RAVE about Fickle Pickles. The deal is...they are really pickle-y but they also have a zing to them that really ramps up any sandwich. We think they add garlic and red peppers to the usual pickle recipe. Whatever it is, it makes these pickles as unique as a Tesla roadster with a similar kick. We bought a bunch.

Yes, you will want to buy them by the case and give as Christmas gifts!!! Cn choose sweet or spicy (be careful...may need a fire extinguisher!).
