I have been Hilton Gold VIP for over 20 years. I have stayed in Hilton brand hotels, including Hampton Inns all over the world. The is the worst one EVER! Facility is poorly maintained and in need of an overhaul. Our room had a strange odor, broken toilet tank and aged furnishings. The price was outrageous for the lack of quality.

Staff was very friendly and attentive. Our room was large & clean and we were impressed with how quiet it was all night. Breakfast was usual Hampton fare but breakfast staff kept all items stocked with fresh hot food. This is a Hampton that we will put on our list to stay any time driving west.

We stayed at this location specifically due to the price. Our niece was getting married in Pecos and the hotel prices there are outrageous. This hotel was very clean and the staff was very courteous. We would definitely stay here again if the occasion arises.

Like most hotel guests, we stayed here as we traveled from Austin to Tucson. We had a very large one bedroom with two queen beds and pull out couch - great for our party of five. On the surface everything looks fine, but if you look harder you'll see signs of an aged hotel that's been bandaged up more than it should have been. Cracks in ceilings, terrible sheetrock repairs, stains on carpeting in the room, stains on the carpeting in the hallway, and days' old food under the tables at breakfast, are all signs of an overworked staff. Speaking of staff, this Hampton Inn has got be running on the most lean staff I have ever seen. I only ever saw one person at the front desk, there was no manager or other associate in the backroom (ever). I noticed at times the front desk lady would go off to take a cart up to a room taking her five or 10 minutes from the desk and upon returning she'd have two of three guests standing in line. It'll be a while before we take a road trip and to be honest, I think no that there are more Hilton brand hotels along I-10 in West Texas, we may give those a try.

Room Tip: Rooms not facing I-10 are probably quieter, however, our room was on the first floor and we couldn't hear the interstate.

Driving from Arizona to Florida and this was a perfect place to stop. Hotel staff was wonderful, room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was perfect. They even make to go bags for breakfast if you are in a hurry! Forgot my toothbrush and staff brought it up to room! Highly recommend!
