Incredible Sushi Restaurant...
We try to visit Blue Sushi at least once a month and absolutely Always a treat. We usually land after their Lunch run so our meal falls before dinner and a packed restaurant. It is always very clean, the waitstaff are always very accommodating and attentive and the Entree items will beg your tastebuds for more. They have a Happy Hour with value items and whether you order maki, sashimi, nigiri or some of their amazing cold sake for starters...no matter where you start or end with their menu items.... You won't be disappointed.

Put this Asian Restaurant on your bucket list... A must do..
Bon Appetit

My husband and I love our sushi, but many in our group of friends and family do not. So it is hard to find a great sushi restaurant that also serves up great non-sushi dishes. Blue succeeded and then some. If I were to have one minor criticism...the traditional entrees came out way ahead of the sushi platter. But the sushi platter was a work of art and worth the wait. When I return to Ft. Worth, I would make it a point to dine again at Blue if in the mood for sushi.

Blue Sushi is an interesting place for several reasons. Unfortunately, explaining it’s weird beauty and atmosphere would take more time than talking about the food. So, in the words of a dear departed friend, I’ll get to the point.

Blue is probably not the best Japanese style restaurant in Fort Worth. It is however, one of the prettiest and most interesting. From the blue lighting and accents to the restrooms illuminated like the bridge of a submarine preparing for a night-vision exercise in an old movie, it is different. With that said, the food has always been good, the service is sometimes iffy, and the noise level can be painful at times. Still, it is one we keep in mind for the occasional Seventh Street area excursion.

This latest visit was for an early evening dinner. We met friends, and we met early enough to dine off of the happy hour menu. That menu includes appetizers and share plates that are discounted by several dollars during happy hour. The four of us had a nice little meal consisting of calamari, tempura vegetables, pork gyoza, Chicken Satay and muscles. Those were all great, but the best thing was the service.

Due to the almost standing room only bar crowd, the A/C was cranked up pretty high. Most of the ladies in the dining area were dressed for the 80 degrees outside, not the 50 something inside. However, our server and the manager could not have been more accommodating, professional and personable in dealing with the complaints about our lips beginning to match the blue decor.

If you dine there, say hello to John (manager) and ask for Alysha (Aly). Also, save room for the fried ice cream desert. It was delicious and served four easily.

Did I mention the noise? The only complaint, after the place warmed up a bit was the noise from the bar area. Thankfully, as soon as happy hour started to wind down, the noise abated significantly.

I would definitely recommend Blue Sushi to anyone looking for a bit of Asian cuisine on the near Westside.

I wont eat sushi anywhere else!! Love the all day Sunday Happy Hour!! The Martinis are usually $8-10 but on Happy Hour they are $6. They have several different kinds and I like them all. Just be careful because they will sneak up on you.
