I did not expect to taste the quality sushi/sashimi in Texas. I ordered the sushi boat, and the taste was up-there

The sushi was very good. Comfortable and friendly ambiance. Service was timely. We will return the next time we are in Fort Worth.

The atmosphere and the menu at Sushi Axiom are not intimidating, and the quality of the food is always on point - making it one of our go-to sushi spots in Fort Worth! The service can be a bit slow, especially on the weekends (make reservations!!), but it's an issue that can easily be overlooked when the food arrives and you start to dig into some really delicious dishes.

The bar is also an excellent spot to grab a drink if you are waiting for a table, with plenty of seats at the bar and more than one bartender taking care of guests. The wine list is small but inexpensive, so beware of quality when choosing a glass - i.e., don't order the cheapest glass on the list and expect something that tastes much more expensive. The specialty cocktail menu consists of mostly sweet martinis that are deceptively strong. Try any of the drinks made with sake or champagne for something less sweet, the Ruby-Red Grapefruit Martini is my favorite.

We pretty much just stick to sashimi and sushi when dining at Sushi Axiom. The dinner sashimi plate is a great deal for the size and quality, featuring buttery tuna and fresh salmon that always get devoured first. Among the sushi bar menu, below is a list of our favorite items, most of which we order every time we go:

The Tower of Pisa - spicy crab & tuna in a creamy sauce - best appetizer to share with friends.
Sushi Axiom Roll & What's Up Roll - rolls that we order every time we visit - so good!
En Fuego Roll & 7th Street Roll - super spicy rolls that always satisfy a craving for heat.
Pacific Roll - lighter roll topped with a delicious ponzu sauce.

Parking is easy, and reservations are made over the phone. For the price and the quality of the food, it's hard to beat Sushi Axiom when looking for sushi in Fort Worth. Definitely be sure to get the Tower of Pisa if you go - it's worth every messy bite!

Cheers!

I was recommended this place from a friend after a sub-par sushi experience elsewhere in the DFW area. We made reservations to be sure to get in as I heard it can get quite busy. It was rather busy on the week night that we went, but not quite necessary for a reservation at 7.
Overall the experience was great. The only issue was a minor misunderstanding that was corrected. We only ordered sushi so I cannot comment on the other entrees. An order of edamame appetizer was good, about as good as any edamame ever gets.
I can't recall exactly what rolls we ordered, but all were great. The nigiri was excellent as well.

We stopped in here for dinner on a Sunday night and there was a decent size crowd so most might think it is better than we experienced. The sushi was fresh and nicely presented, but lacked the intensity or interest of a great sushi place. So in a pinch and if you are in the area it will do but only if not closer to a better alternative.
