We went for lunch on a weekday at 1:30 pm, so the lunch rush had already passed. We didn't have to wait but a minute in line. Zac was our cashier. We appreciate that he was trying to be friendly and helpful, but his tactics were way over the top. He spoke too loud and acted like he had just attended his first customer service training class and was overdoing it. At least he wasn't rude or mean, but he could take it down a few notches and be great. When my husband went to get his iced tea, the machine was empty. He notified an employee and waited. We went to the table and continued to wait. He saw another person notify them of the same issue. When my husband was half finished with his sandwich, he notified another employee, who totally ignored him and just walked away. By the time he could get his tea, he had finished his sandwich. Asked twice, ignored twice. We both had the California Club and substituted the Ancient Grain Bun for the croissant. The food was good, just as we expected it would be. Since this is a new location, I suggest the manager spend more time on site being visible, seeing how things are going and taking action where necessary.
