Cute little place located directly on the seawall with a great view. There is also outdoor seating with an even better view if you can take the heat and sun. Shade is minimal; dress is very casual. The interior is usual seafood furnishings of wooden chairs and tables. Ordering is a bit quirky - as you order up at the counter, get your drinks and cutlery and find you own table. Your meal is served to you as is drink refills. We were lucky to arrive when we did as there was only 3 people ahead in line. A half-hour later, that line snaked out the door! There is no lunch menu but prices are so reasonable that it doesn't matter.
Our original table was very wobbly - even after stuffing a napkin under the leg. So much so that we switched. The two of us had to take up a 6-top as there were no smaller tables available. I felt bad about that because the place was full. We moved to the window to leave it open but no one sat there. The line moved swiftly and we ordered within 10 minutes of arriving. Our order was brought out in about 15 minutes. It was steaming hot - love that.
Our meals were Fried Shrimp & Oyster Combo and the Fried Shrimp & Fish Combo. Both platters had huge seafood portions and tons of fresh cut fries. My Oysters were done to perfection - crispy on the outside and fresh and creamy on the inside. NONE were overcooked. Heaven. Hubby's Catfish was yummy. The Shrimp were huge, butterflied and crispy good. The hush puppies were also good. The only thing missing was some spice. The breading on the seafood could have used a bit more and a little less corn meal. Even so, this was a great meal at a great price. Side note: They do not serve alcohol.
The reason I took a star was broken table, needs more spice and did not like the line of people right at our table watching us eat.
