Booked a 4 night stay for Christmas 2017

I would recommend the Eurostar direct, good service, easy and direct. I would recommend upgrading the train more room and quiet

The bag collection service is helpful as this means you get your ticket on the train and you can go straight to the parks

On arrival at sequoia lodge, friendly helpful staff on checkin and good location to the park

Bad points,

The hotel breakfast is very French, not really a cooked breakfast, but good choice of cereal, pastries and fruit

don’t bother with the Meal vouchers you will find it hard to spend them as you have to book the restaurants very early, as we found this out on the first day and the basic voucher is only for 5 restaurants so you will end up paying more anyway Also you are very restricted to where and when you eat

The hotel ok for its age,is like a uk travel lodge, but no kettle, fridge, tea coffee, shampoo etc very basic bring everything with you

Be prepared to part with a lot of cash as a bottle of water and crisps cost £11 in the park but this is a captive audience so Remember Disney can charge what they like, and they do !!

We visited December 2017 - 9 of us all family. Hotel was stunning to look at and inside the bar was lovely with open fire. Staff was all helpful and pleasant. Room was big, bed very comfortable but just needed updated. Would stay again.
Breakfast was good.

Spent 2 nights at the Seqouia Lodge in December, lovely atmosphere and Christmas decorations. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment. We had a Montana room in the main building, it was clean but a little dated and there was not enough sockets. Tea and coffee facilities would be a nice touch. The staff in the boutique were very helpful and took something out of the window display for us that we had been unable to get in any of the parks. Short walk to the parks around the lake.

I really would love to give this place 5 circles unfortunately we had a few issues. We checked in dropped out bags and went straight to the parks got back late and felt a draught noticed our window was opened and looked like someone used plasters to try and keep it shut :-/ told a member of staff and they said would be fixed by the time we got back it was. unfortunately the staff who fixed it stood on my new Disney shoes and wrecked them was devastated, also we asked for an iron took 2days and asked for a hairdryer as one of the rooms didn’t have one only to be told 1 day later they don’t have any :-( not very Disney surrounding as lovely nice walk to the parks.
