The Fairfield is located just a few miles South of the airport but their free shuttle service runs on limited hours so if your flight is very early or gets in late, you are better off grabbing an Uber or other means of transport.

The free breakfast is plentiful and there is a large dining area to enjoy whatever you choose to eat. They also offer an early evening light meal so take advantage of that.

If you choose to use the Business Center for anything other than printing a boarding pass, prepare to be disappointed. Any attempt to read news sites like CNN or sports on ESPN caused the browser to crash because it couldn't handle the embedded videos.

Just a warning if you are driving here for the first time from the airport.... once you turn off of Texas 8 Beltline Road onto JFK South, the road is TERRIBLE....especially in the Northbound lane. Very rough with large potholes, so be aware.

We book two rooms here and prepaid for them. When we got here there was only one room and we had to pay for the other again! Not the first time we have had problems at these hotels; last time however. Will take our business elsewhere.

Thank you so much for your review. We sincerely apologize for any confusion, but unfortunately, when your reservation was booked on December 3rd, I was only for one room. That particular room was prepaid, however that was the only room reserved. Therefore we did not charge you for the second room, until you arrived for check-in. We then made the second reservation, as you requested. As mentioned, you did have one advanced purchase rate and one regular reservation. You should have only been charged for two rooms. It seems that on our end, you were in fact only charged for two rooms, as you previously mentioned. Please feel free to contact me at 281-227-3434 with any additional questions you may have. In my years of experience with airport hotels, there are three big deal requirements. First is comfort, second is a decent breakfast before a flight and third is reliable transport to and from the airport. It is this third that was handled very poorly during our stay. We were well pleased our first stay before outbound travel, but on return, after a very long transatlantic flight, we were neglected at the core of an airport hotel’s responsibility. We were stranded at the airport for a very long time, and each call to the hotel ended with promise that the driver was very close. After call number five, we were told that we could take a taxi and be compensated. The hotel driver then showed and denied knowledge that we had been waiting. Upon arrival at the hotel, I spoke with the manager who explained that the driver had known. The manager offered an apology and, sadly, the desk clerk then proceeded to give us an “ice machine room”. Upon request, we were moved one more room away from the ice machine.
A lot of words are spent here over the errors. The reality is that the rooms are fine with good beds. There are up to 14 days of free parking after a stay and flight out of Houston. There is a late afternoon offering of either soup or dressed potato and salad and a very decent breakfast.
The overall picture is a very good one, but that pesky need to get to and from the airport should be considered when booking here. The manager also needs to seriously reward customers who are seriously inconvenienced so they write better reviews.

The front desk greeted us and was very pleasant. The facility was clean and the room was too. The suite was nice and roomy with flat screen tvs in the sitting and sleeping areas. We would stay here again. The breakfast was ok.

We were so relieved to have arrived safe and sound after a long harrowing drive through the flooded Houston streets that we overlooked everything about this hotel. Our room was dry and relatively quiet and the price was right for a room close to the airport.
