I love this place...quirky, imaginative, creative are only a few words to describe the park. I was able to watch one of the artist work! He was kind enough to take a few minutes and tell me the history of the park - it was a wonderful sit down tour if you will - I would go back in a heartbeat!! I took over 150 pictures....

This was a charming place that I really enjoyed taking photos of. The ground was wet and swarms of gnats hanging around, but it was still a great little place to see! The mosaics are very well made with so much unique details that you have to take several glances at each one to take it all in or risk missing something cool in it. It is free and has street parking in front of it.

I could have spent a lot longer here had it not been 100 degrees outside. Hundreds of mosaic masterpieces grace the concrete walls and there are still others in progress. Each one is unique and many are made with the most incredible treasures you can imagine. Animals and creatures and abstract collections - the closer you look the more you see. There are tables and swings and covered areas making it a great spot for a picnic. It's next door to "The Orange Show Monument" ) I've never been and didn't make it there today.

Not from Houston, but it definitely seemed to be in a secluded area...may need to map it, but once you are there it is amazing. The detail these artist put into their pieces is phenomenal. Each time I'd take a second look I'd find something new. The mosaics are made out of more then just tiles and it's fun once you realize the subtle inclusions and the fantastic talent which created such works. Great place to take pictures!
