Wonderful boutique hotel. Quiet, intimate setting with very pleasant staff and attention to detail. Food in Main floor restaurant was good - loved the salmon! Mezzanine breakfast for guests was very nice and varietal for a "continental" - eggs, bacon, numerous selection of cereals, breads, waffles, fruit. Rooms quiet and nice. Impressed by how quiet it was. Robes were soft. The bed sheets are the softest I have ever had at a hotel. Would like to know where to get some for home. Offer transportation within a couple miles from hotel which is great for business traveler. Will definitely be back!!!

We arrived late and tired so be greeted by the delightful Russell was a relief. He checked us in quickly and made sure we knew how to use the Lion's Den for snacks (which was a lifesaver!). Russell also double checked our flights were on time the next day. We really enjoyed his banter! The hotel itself is beautiful and the bedding luxurious - we slept like kings. Good variety of options for breakfast ("Can I get a waffle started for you sir?" - was the opening line from Mark to my husband at breakfast) and very plentiful. A great location in the theatre district.

We stayed for one night, celebrating our wedding anniversary. It was honestly the perfect spot for us with all of the bars and restaurants in walking distance. There were also some theaters we could have gone to if we had planned ahead. The lobby had free chocolate chip cookies and a free wine hour, which was a great way to start our night out. We met a lovely couple and sat and talked with them for the entire hour. Then, upon arriving after our night out the doors were locked to the public, which made us feel safe. There was a lounge area with free espresso and an old school pac man arcade game. Loved it! After a great night sleep, we went down to the mezzanine for the breakfast buffet. The food offerings were more than we expected and it all tasted great! If we're ever in town and need a place to stay, we're definitely returning. Just hoping for a better view next time, as our view was of a dirty parking alley. ;-)

Room tip: We were in 509 and didn't like the view. I would suggest a room on the other side of the hallway.

There is an amazing breakfast buffet that comes with the room. But for business breakfasts it is worth it to pay for breakfast at a comfortable table in the Bistro. Miss Rose was there to usher me to a table. New on the menu is the International and it is tasty and healthful. Poached eggs and arugula, tomatoes, feta and balsamic drizzle on european thin wholegrain toast. A healthful, delicious and filling breakfast.

A shout out to Laura and Danny for the warm welcome (and chocolate chip cookie) they offered at check in, even though it was super late. Lina is unfailingly polite and makes sure reservations are made with minimal effort on my part.

The rooms continue to evolve to be even more luxurious and comfortable. The new Frette linens and big poofy down pillows add an even greater sleeping experience. I had a moment with two other guests at the hotel. We were strangers to each other but we had a communal moment of appreciation for how great the rooms are.

Keep up the great work. The management and staff at this hotel really care and it shows.

If you are doing anything in the the Theater District or just want a romantic getaway, I highly recommend this hotel. The quaint atmosphere is punctuated by the attentive staff and the luxurious bedding. I slept like a king. I also recommend Birraporetti's just across the street. Even if you only stop in for a late night appetizer and a Guinness (or a dessert and some Irish coffee), you'll be glad you did.

Room tip: Southwest corner rooms have a great view.
