I had such high expectiations for this place, had always wanted to stay here and finally got my chance, anniversary weekend with my honey.........what a waste of time and money. Really only stay here if you can get a boardwalk side room and there is a band playing that you want to hear other than that......pass.......no room service for those that want to stay in, 4 channels on tv, no fridge or microwave.........not impressed at all....ended up at another hotel for 2nd night of our stay in kemah

My husband and I just got home from a weekend trip to the Kemah boardwalk for our anniversary. I was very impressed with the Boardwalk Inn. The staff was very friendly, especially Penny at the front desk. I had requested chocolate covered strawberries and they were in our room when we arrived. (They were very good, by the way.) We were on the 4th floor almost at the end of the hall. The room was clean and we loved having the balcony to sit on and people watch. The only bad thing I can think of (and it really isnt all that bad) is that the train that goes around the boardwalk rings its bells every few seconds when it comes by and its annoying. But it stops early enough that it wasnt a problem when we were trying to go to sleep. The front desk help was amazing. They were so friendly. The 1st night when we checked in they told us they could call ahead for dinner reservations for us, which we used both nights we were there. It was great to not have to wait to get a table. The restaurants are all pretty busy. We had a lovely time. The rates were reasonable and overall I would recommend this hotel.

Landry's did a good job on this hotel. It is centrally located and has everything that you could want or need. The only thing they lacked was a bar. We enjoyed some very comfortable beds. The service was good and the front desk was helpful. We asked were the locals hangout and they sent us to The Terrace Cafe, which is not a Landry's concept. I thought that was refreshing that they didn't suggest a concept of there own. So, we went to Terrace Cafe and we had a wonderful evening. The spaghetti was unbelievable and we were very comfortable on the giant patio. Drinks were cheap and we stayed until closing. When we returned, to the hotel the lobby was deserted, but it was nice and quiet and we slept like a baby. The next day we got to enjoy the pool and walk around the Kemah Boardwalk. It was great!

We spent the weekend with my daughter and her friends to celebrate her birthday. We had a blast !, The weather was perfect with cool entertainment, The sail boats were just beautiful. The food was delicious and the amusement park was fun and prefect for a spooky haunted house.

Had a great stay. The Hotel was battered big-time by Hurricane Ike several years ago, but this gave the license to rebuild a better, nicer place. The rooms were neat, clean and smelled fresh (the little things). The location is right where you want to be. The Staff had the info needed at the time when asked. Really nice stay.
