We recently moved to the Lakeway area and decided to try Santa Catarina because of the positive reviews. Great Mexican food! Some of the most authentic we have had in a long time. Really good Margaritas, and it is very obvious that the food is made to order, so expect a little wait. We will certainly be back, it is now on our favorite list.

Santa Catarina is simply the most authentic and best Mexican cuisine in the area. Fresh ingredients and a unique interior menu make for a perfect combination. This is not your standard Tex-Mex and the quality is far above anything else served locally. Service was good and friendly. Authentic restaurant and delicious. A+

This is our go to spot for Mexican food in Lakeway. Big menu with tons of choices. The food is very authentic Mexican and it tastes great.

We've been here several times and never been disappointed. The food is great and so is the waitstaff.

We took our daughter there recently and did not know what to expect. Service was slow and the waiter forgot my wife's beverage, but the restaurant was very busy. However, the food was savory and authentic. My chicken in mole was superb. My wife had enchiladas and my daughter had gorditas. The flavors were excellent. The price of our dinner was very reasonable. We will definitely return soon.
