This hotel is a great mix of old and new - a lovely old building which has been a hotel (in the same family) since the early 20th century, but with clean, modern (but sympathetically done) rooms, many of which have balconies.
The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming.
There is free parking (an assigned space for each room, all behind electric gates operated by your room card).
Breakfast was gorgeous, with a good choice of quality items, most from the locality.
Bidart is a lovely charming place with a great selection of restaurants only two minutes walk from the hotel.

Room tip: The road is quiet anyway, but there are better views away from the road too.

We left booking until the last minute and managed to get the last room at Itsas. We are so glad we did. Check in was a breeze. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. Great shower. The room was quiet even though close to the road. Local restaurants are great and only a few minutes walk. Parking was secure and easy. We took the bus into Biarritz (aprox 15min) which was cheap (2euro 24hr ticket) and convenient. It was nice staying in Bidart but going to Biarritz for shopping and wandering around town. Itsas was excellent and we would highly recommend it.

Maria is an amazing hostess! Beautiful clean, well equipped rooms. Breakfast was divine! Great location, close to beaches and a quick bus into town. Free parking & Wifi. Pretty gardens with several areas to relax around the pool.

Very good location with a secure car park , so a great stop over on route to uk from southern Spain, close to motorway, but also in middle of Bidart, a quiet , quaint seaside town, excellent restaurants and wonderful views of the bay.

Very modern, comfortable hotel, with its history in parts... Excellent service from start to finish, immaculately clean, comfortable room... Good shower, strange little toilet the only down side.... Really quiet place, our room had two balconies, really comfortable bed, no oft that I could see by the way.....

Good vfm... Top tip.... Reaerch and Book your restaurant in the village in advance to save disappointment, especially in high season and weekends....

Room tip: Ask for a balcony to get that bit if extra space....

We were recommended by a friend of a friend to stay at this hotel and we were certainly not disappointed. We highly recommend the hotel and in particular we liked:
- friendly and helpful staff team who always made you feel very welcome
- the hotel was very clean throughout
- there are incredible views of the mountains in the distance from the bedrooms, breakfast room, bar, terrace and swimming pool
- the swimming pool and surrounding area was lovely and the water always warm
- breakfast was well worth 14 euros with fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, choice of breads and more. On warm days breakfast on the terrace is a delight.
- we had a great seaview from our bedroom and a well fitted bathroom with large shower
We will return soon!
