I don't usually have a curry when abroad as they very rarely match our expectations but after 2 weeks away from home I needed a ruby and decided to give Krishna a try after reading the positive reviews and I'm glad that we did.
We opted for the set menu which came with a drink that was very good value. We had chicken pakora and onion bhaji to start followed by chicken tikka masala and a chicken madras. We chose rice to come with both our mains and also ordered a nan bread. The onion bhaji and nan breads were among the best we have ever had and the curries had just the right amount of spice. There was more than we could eat so on our second visit we chose just one rice and a nan bread with our mains which was just right for us.
We both chose a glass of house white with our meal which was quite generous and very drinkable. A further bottle of house white was just as good.
Service was very good. Our waiter was friendly and efficient and spent some time chatting with us without being intrusive.
Worth a visit if you like a curry.
