Rushton Triangular Lodge
Ranked #1 of 1 things to do in Rushton

Strange, weird, at times dreary. Suggestive the history of the Triangular Lodge, a place rich in charm and mystery. Lost in the countryside around Rushton, this place filled with symbolism and history is a key step, you can see it in a short time and let yourself rest for a while before resuming.

Although there is little to see inside this small building it is worth spending some time to learn about its history and trying to unravel all the symbolism. Parking is very limited and the charge is a little steep: become a member of English Heritage and it is free!

I so love that someone had the imagination and beliefs to build this place. It will be ridiculous to some and totally on-beat to others. Experience it yourself then decide! Parking is limited but site is sufficiently obscure to make the parking adequate! Ticket guy on our visit was well worth a chat so +++

No one told us that there was a charge to see this small building so we arrived without any money on us. Man in charge wasn't ahppy obviously but let us in side it. Very interesting - revolves about the figure 3 . Let you find out the significance if you visit.

A very interesting piece of architecture filled with semiological and coded references.
It helped that we purchased the £3 guide book which explained the codes.
