Interesting construction and history of how it came about, but not a lot there really, unless passing don't plan your whole day round a visit to this site.

Well worth a visit. A unique building small but packed with meaning. Well looked after. Worth getting the guide book.

Out of all English Heritage places this is a) one of the closest to me in mileage and b) one of the most curious places I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. If you are in the area - DEFINITELY give this a look. The details inside are incredible. You would never think how surreal it feels to stand inside a triangular room until you're inside the lodge - it's quite bizarre.

Parking is in a lay by just off the road, however it's a quiet place in the middle of nowhere so I wouldn't worry too much about not getting a space!

the place is quite amazing the details that are built in to the walls are amazing for the time it was built you can see the owner had money. Parking is restricted to about five car spaces on the side of a busy road so be careful when crossing I wouldn't make a special trip to just see this building we visited in conjunction with other English heritage property's nearby making it a worthwhile trip not suitable for people who have difficulty with steps as there quite steep and quite awkward
