A bit slow service in seating and serving. NOT busy at all. The appetizers we tried were great and the best of all the order; fried mushrooms with good, thin breading. We liked the crab ragoon, but yes, very little crab and no green onions, lots of cream cheese. Had a dozen oysters, small side but not gritty. $18 for a dozen in October. There was no clam chowder that night. (It was 5pm, so must not have made any.) Hubby had the 2 piece fried combo; shrimp and cod was his choice. Cod was just ok, shrimp was a bit dry. I had the grilled snapper, it was nothing extraordinary. The potatoes everyone raved about were ok, but interestingly, the mixed vegies were the best. Grilled perfectly and well seasoned. Two other adults had the Ahi Tuna dinner and it was a bit better than average. The rice was excellent. Another diner had another 2 piece fried dinner; shrimp and calamari. The calamari was very good, again shrimp middlin'. Two children's dinners were shrimp and fries and a grilled cheese sandwich for the child that does not like fish. There was no mac and cheese available that day. Total check without tip was $100, no one had any drinks, water only. It was a nice place to try, but was not unique or tasty enough for anyone to want to return. We had higher expectations.
