The atmosphere is good, but the service isn't great for large groups. They have limited real crab options and are pretty pricey. I find this place overrated but everyone else I talk to seem to love it.

If you want a quality sushi restaurant experience, Sushi Sake is your spot. Awesome fresh fish selection, quality and impeccable service. The concept of shared tables gives you a real sense of community but at the same time allow for a private eating experience. No better Japanese restaurant in the Dallas area!

Splendid place to taste Japanese food brought abroad. It was packed so consider booking beforehand. Service was great as well.

Excellent fresh sushi. Try the dumplings & fried shrimp also. Good atmosphere - you might share a table. Service was great.

The food was very good and prices were par for good sushi/sashimi. The warm house saki was very good and inexpensive ($6 for their "large" bottle). We went on Friday evening at 8pm and were seated quickly (2 people) after about 5 min. It would probably be a good idea to make reservations if you are more than 2 people, or at least call, and plan on eating at a prime time, such as 8pm. The restaurant was full. For appetizers we had the Japanese pickles (the daikon was great), seaweed salad (also good) and yakitori (not very good). The miso soup was very good. We ordered the combinataion sushi/sashimi ($30) and individual sushi pieces (2 per order). The regular tuna was OK, the O Toro was outstanding but expensive ($22), the Unagi eel was standard. The sea urchin was very good, but have had better and it was expensive ($18). All in all the bill was OK given what we had to eat ($131 for two people, not including the tip). I am giving the restaurant a 4, because although very good, especially by US standards, it was not up to the quality of NYC (Sushi Yasuda) and Tokyo good sushi restaurants. We would definitely eat here again. This was very good sushi for being in TX.
