One good way to tell if an ethnic restaurant is any good is that there are plenty of customers of that ethnicity. So when a Vietnamese friend of mine suggested this restaurant to me, I jumped at the opportunity. I was not disappointed.
Pho Tan Loc is a typical store front restaurant that will not win any awards for decor. Other than the menus and the photographs of Vietnam on the walls, there really isn't anything here to suggest this isn't just a Chinese restaurant. The owners here have concentrated on the food. My vermicelli with beef, vegetables and egg roll was good but my companion's noodle soup was better. My recommendation is to stick with the soups.
