This hotel was the last hotel with a room available when we were passing through due to a Little League Championship being played in the city. Upon arrival, there was a long line to check in. However, Charlonda Griffin was on the job, and she managed to single-handedly move us all through the check out as though were each the only guest she had all night. What a great job she did!
The hotel is a standard Holiday Inn Express. Our double queen suite was roomy, cool, clean, and comfortable. The hallways were boiling hot as the a/c was not working. The elevators were very slow and had broken down earlier in the day, so we used the stairs. Breakfast was the usual fare, kept well stocked throughout the morning despite the large number of people moving through.More
