This park is wonderful. It offers an excellent view of the Brazos. Parks & Rec recently finished a trail that goes through the trees -- the path is paved, so it is good for biking, running, & walking. There is also a disc golf course and a whole slew of horseshoe pits. I see many people using the boat ramp to access the river; the park borders the junction of the Brazos and the Bosque Rivers. There are also a few pavilions and a small stage. I have heard of people renting the park out for events and weddings, etc.
I highly recommend this lovely park.
