We stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Green River before going to Goblin Valley, Canyonlands, Grand Staircase, and Bryce Canyon. We also stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Green River on our way back.
Why? Because it's the best & nicest hotel in Green River. Also, it was one of the nicest & cleanest hotels we stayed at in Colorado and Utah.
I have a suggestion, though. There is nothing -- and I mean nothing -- next to the hotel. No shopping, no restaurants, no nothing. Don't get me wrong. It's an easy drive down the street to Tamarisk Restaurant, a good meal overlooking the Green River, and equally simple to go to the nice golf course and disc golf course in town. But this really nice Holiday Inn Express could become an oasis in the desert if a nice restaurant -- and maybe a little shopping and/or recreation -- were right next door.
Thank you for this wonderful hotel and best of luck in the future.More
