One of our 4 restaurants we visited in Park City. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend to others. Everything we ate was very good, though we agreed, the best thing was the sashimi and the dim sum special were the best. The service was outstanding. Our main complaint is that the drinks were REALLY expensive and very small.....hence the lower rating on value. A bottle of wine might have been more economical for us.

I read many positive reviews of this restaurant and decided to give it a try yesterday. I went with two of my kids. I thought the food was pretty good but nothing special and overpriced. The restaurant is located in the basement of a small building on Main Street and has very little space. We spent almost the same amount of money as in Yuki Yama but the food, the decor and the service quality were way below what you get at Yuki Yama.

It wasn’t horrible but when it comes to sushi... anything less than great causes concern since you’re dealing raw fish.

We ordered 4 rolls and all were about average. There is quite the competition between Shabu, Flying Sumo and Yuki Yama... I would imagine them doing something more to unique to be more competitive.

we visit park city 3 or 4 times a year and always dine at shabu! Food is amazing, service is great. kids love the hot rocks and waygu beef...very cool! firecracker shrimp not to be missed and green beans are delicious. our whole family loves it here and we have never had a bad meal. if visiting park city or deer valley you need to fit shabu into your plans.

We enjoyed our meal here. It was s a little dark, and smokey (from the hot rocks) eating down there though. Service was average. This place offers a huge variety of asian/sushi dishes. We tried a variety of things. The sushi was fine, the green beans good, the hot rock wagyu beef (was fun and good), and the firecracker shrimp (good). This place is best for families and large groups, so you can order lots of different things and share them. Overall, it was fun and different experience, but nothing we ate was 5 star quality. It's pretty expensive too (like everywhere in downtown PC). 3.5 stars
