Ww are not big fans of the restaurants located at Snowbird. This is one of the best. We had a lovely meal. The ambiance is pretty. Our entrees were all well prepared. The service was good. I would add that it's billed as a "gastropub" which we found inaccurate as it is more just like a nice restaurant with a separate bar area that's more casual.

Decent food but poor service combined to make dinner here far below par. Soup was served in first five minutes and then it took another 40 minutes for the wait staff to come by. Another 10 for our entrees. The people here are pleasant but the lack of customer focus and attentiveness combined with the noisy environment make this a poor choose.

While lodging and dining elsewhere within the Snowbird complex, the understated offerings did not prepare me for the impressive flagship experience at the Cliff Lodge restaurant, the Aerie, on the tenth floor; an elegant, well designed with expansive windows and mountain views. Service was very professional, efficient but comfortable. The menu was unusually diverse; nearly every entrée intrigued us. The wine list appeared quite adequate, but lacked choices of leading French Burgundy (a personal favorite). We dined there on two separate evenings. The first night was satisfied with lighter but satisfying small plates, the chef's outstanding kale & quinoa salad, and a Portobello mushroom sandwich which was a disappointment, as it was served cold. The second night demanded a full entrée, the lamb shank, which was delicious on its own, but the splash of thick aged lemon sauce on top did definitely not compliment the succulent meat and rich brown sauce.

Ate at this place twice during our stay at the Cliff Lodge. The food was nice and the service friendly (but sometimes felt understaffed).

Favorite dishes were the quinoa fritters and calamari appetizers. Mains: lamb shank, trout and mushroom raviolis were all quite tasty. Kids get a free ice cream sandwich or creamsicle

I ate two dinners here and attended an apres ski party. The food was excellent although one night when it was busier than it had been the service was a bit slow (although our waiter was very personable).
The breakfast buffet was also included as part of my package. The choices were extensive and it was delicious.
