When we arrive we saw 4 guys outside of the Peacock cabin near the registration desk. They were staring at us enough to feel uncomfortable. We were very happy that our cabin was far enough. I spoke with two girls who were next to our cabin and they have the same feeling when they arrive. (Not secure). That evening we saw that the owner was maybe theirs friend because they were sitting outside with them. The morning after there was a bunch of beer in front of that cabin. It doesn’t matter to me until we have been waking up at 6h00 AM by a man screaming and yelling for one hour, having problem to stay up and taking a shower under the falls near the cabins. He looks quite intoxicated. I wrote to the owners and all they have to answer is that that guy was not there when we arrive, he was not intoxicated but searching his cell phone in the falls, and i was not possible to us to heard them because they tested it, and finally my bad english is a problem... (Sorry i am French Canadian, but a client too). That place is a not recommandable.

We stayed in the motel and our room was small but clean with a microwave, fridge, and cable television. We had wireless Internet which worked well. The bed was ok however I think a new mattress is needed. Our bathroom could use an update.

The Pine Crest was very clean. The people were very friendly. The grounds were very pretty, full of flowers. They have an outdoor swimming pool and a very clean shallow river for swimming or fishing. They have a large fire pit which we sat around in the evenings.. They even had horse shoes. It was much more than we expected.

Room Tip: A cabin is similar to the motel rooms but separate from each other, and they are a little closer to the pool, river, and fire pit.

We stayed at this motel the weekend of Augustine 20th. We were unmercifully eaten by bed bugs. My girlfriend suffered the onslaught worse than I did. Upon arriving at home and consulting a doctor about the hive like bites, my girlfriend sent a registered letter to the motel owners. To this date we have had exactly zero communication from them. We love going to the Northeast Kingdom but we will never stay at this motel again.

The cabins at Pine crest are well made, but the screen door on ours didn't fit. Bugs got in, so we had to keep it closed, which was uncomfortable in the middle of the summer.
The location is beautiful, and the prices are very good. There are tables outside to eat, its the cabins are very small. The wifi didn't work for phones, unless you walked up to the motel hq. The bed was comfortable.
