We visited with our 12 year-old daughter, who is new to different cuisines. This was typical Indian food, which we didn't realize when we decided to go. The lunch special ($9!) was so inexpensive, and it included a drink (non-alcoholic), a small appetizer and a meal. The lamb was good but could have been spicier. The chicken tikka was terrific. The samosas and croquettes were excellent. There is no ambiance, but it was perfect.

What a wonderful find.
Sorry we didn't find this earlier. layout is small and simple and the food is anything but.
Fixed menue for lunch was wonderful.. the Curry is great. Prices are very affordable.
You must try this place.

Hands down one of the best and most satisfying restaurants in Burlington. Unique entres and rich substantial portions. Service is excellent. One of the best and certainly one of the most interesting menus in the city.

Sherpa Kitchen was everything that Himalaya in Burlington was not. Sherpa kitchen had excellent food, good service and excellent value. The vegetarian stew had wonderful, thick handmade noodles. Unlike many Asian broth-based dishes, it was not overly salty. I loved the eggplant and potato curry, the samosas, the dhal and the flaky naan (more like a paratha). Although the curries look like Indian ones, they are seasoned more gently. Can't wait to return.

We dropped in here on a lark. We were glad that we did. The food was very good and the service was friendly. We were unfamiliar with some of the dishes and the waiter helped us pick well.

The booths were rickety and a bit uncomfortable. This is not fine dining. But, it is an affordable and solid place to eat.
