What a GEM this place is. Peaceful and beautiful. The view from the front porch is stunning. The room was simply and tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The breakfast was AMAZING and the hosts were so friendly and gracious. We wish we could have stayed longer than one night. But we got a taste of real North Vermont. Suggestion: for breakfast ask for the cheese and chive omelet. Trust me on this.

Room tip: The front upstairs room was perfect

If there is a westerly breeze and you can't deal with the faint aroma of cow manure, don't stay here. If you would like to sleep comfortably through the night in a well appointed room, enjoy a fine breakfast, and be part of the authentic fabric of the Northeast Kingdom by staying on a working farm, then come here. If you wish to take a trip to Cabot and see where they make cheese, it is a short drive from here. But you already will have seen where some of the milk has come from as you watch the cows grazing in the pasture. Take a walk up to the top of the pasture and enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. Sit on the porch with morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening and watch your cares fall away.

Room tip: Carriage and Meadowview both have views of the valley to the south, but Meadowview also has a view of the sunrise.

Thank You so much....it was a pleasure having you and your wife as our guests, it was a fun week with guests sharing their explorations of the area with lots of laughter around the breakfast table. Hope your schedule allows you to visit Danville and the Northeast Kingdom again.

This was our first visit at an American B&B and we loved our visit to the farm. The rooms and house are fabulous and the guest rooms are well appointed and the beds very comfortable. The breakfasts were out of this world and the high points of our days. We got a tour of the dairy farm and a great lesson in dairy farming. the surrounding scenery is amazing and I kept thinking we were in a Currier and Ives print. We are looking forward to our return visit.

Stayed for 3 nights in September with my husband & daughter. Very unique & peaceful place to stay. Beautiful farm & home. Breakfasts were delicious & included plenty of home grown ingredients. We stayed in the suite with our own kitchen & it was ideal for our small family. I enjoyed walking up to the farm's hill that overlooked the surrounding area so beautiful & quiet. My daughter enjoyed seeing the chickens & cows. We hope to visit again in the future.

We were agreeaby surprised with the friendly welcome and excelent accommodation,
not to mention the tasty breakfast. We only spent two nights and were sad to leave.
Much more enjoyable than staying in a hotel.

Room tip: We stayed in the suite - enormous and well worth the difference
