Great hike with a flat trail as I have no interest in verticals. There are some side trails with elevation, in needed. We found walking adjacent ti the West River up to the bridge very relaxing, about a 5 mile round trip.

I came here for day use only so I have no review on what its like to camp here. There is a beautiful trail along the river with a few spots you can go down and get your feet wet or let your dog swim. It's a fast moving river though so I wouldn't recommend it for swimming. The reason we went was to take the trail from the park to Hamilton Falls. Its 2 miles of a flat trail and then a mile up the mountain to the waterfall. Worth the hike but make sure you bring plenty of water because that hike up is tiring! The bathroom near the parking area wasn't the cleanest and had no hot water. Only $8 to go for the day though so you can't ask for too much!

I took my nephew camping here when he was four years old. He is now six and always asks when we are headed back. There is hiking, biking, swimming and when we were there, an exhibit on ash beetles was on display. Perfect family weekend spot and a great way to support your local parks!

This is a beautiful walk to the falls. The river is stunning and captures your attention the whole way to the trail to the falls which is a solid 2ish miles in. The hike up the falls trail is a good one. Gets your heart rate up. The falls were well worth the trip. We even got to experience it in the snow❄️

Really gorgeous park along the water. The trail leading from the park is one of the most picturesque places you may ever visit should you catch it in the right time of the Fall. It's like cheat mode for a photographer with the crazy variety of trees. Well worth the 3 mile hike from the park base up to Hamilton Falls - one of the most unique falls I've seen.
