I visited Jay for the first time earlier this year and again this past weekend....this mountain is awful. There is a single lift that takes you to the top of the mountain. One. There's also a tram that fits about 30 people and takes forever to go up and then come back down. DEFINITELY not worth waiting for. The one lift that takes you to the top (flyer) is often closed because of wind. If just feels like the trails were built into the wrong side of the mountain or something. The wind is HORRIBLE and is pretty consistent. The trails are well groomed and there are some really fun glades, but that to me is not worth the 4 hour drive from Boston....not when I know I'm going to have to wait forever in long lines. Yes there is the State side of the mountain that doesn't get as much wind, but that's where everybody end up going and so the lines are even worse and again, not worth the long drive and expensive lift ticket to be able to access 1/4 of the trails. Don't waste your time here, go to Stowe!

Very well organised, staff helpful and friendly. Snow was amazing, hardly had to wait in a lift queue. Food a little on the basic side but fine for families. Ski school and the nursery were great for our 2 and 4 year olds. Would highly recommend to families.

Enjoyed a wonderful trip with fresh light snow and a great room at the Tram Haus Lodge. Always love the fireplace units. The ski locker room with locking lockers is a great idea. Alice's Restaurant and the Foundry are both excellent places for a drink and dinner. We were there for Valentines Day, and really enjoyed Alice's. Great snow always at Jay.

We had a great time at Jay Peak! Guaranteed fun for the whole family! There was a big storm on the day we arrived so the skiing was amazing and our son really enjoyed the waterpark! Jay Peak is a perfect family destination.

Room tip: A few missing kitchen items like oven mitts!

When attending hockey tournaments the restaurant experience is always tedious, noisy and time consuming. Here at Jay Peak we stayed in the condos with a full kitchen so we were able to cook all our own healthy meals to properly fuel the kids.

The beds were extremely comfortable.

Only issue we had was a Carbon Monoxide detector that kept going off throughout the night and the night manager who came back couldn't get it to stop. Hi hand held device showed no dangerous levels thankfully but the second nights sleep was ugly. We were offered discounts at the resort but being from Canada we couldn't use them
