Hit the slopes when it was 5 degrees at 8:30 Sunday morning, February 10, 2013 with an advanced skier, and since the powder two days earlier was on the hard pack, even the double black diamonds were doable. The lunch in the lodge, which was the only time we went in all day, was a Chinese dinner with a drink for $9.99 and delicious. I had been long ago on May 15th for a mogul field in the warmth of Spring, and one other time and remember not feeling like it was 6 mountains, but today we covered the entire resort, left to right, top to bottom, and it was great. The crowds were less than expected for a Sunday, with 5 minutes max to wait for a gondola, and no wait in the singles line. The temp got up to 23 degrees by 2pm, and the layers came off. This was better than anticipated, and the views dramatic with unlimited visibility. (And the lodge layout had bathrooms nearby on the same level, and a sink by the trash can, they planned everything well.)
