Well maintained and heavily used park. Well known for its hiking trails & proximity to the Appalachian Trail which passes directly thru GWSP & the Long Trail which splits from the AT at nearby Maine Junction. The park is also hiking proximity to Deer Leap Rock, Kent Pond & Thundering Falls. While I've been to all these spots, today was just a picnic in the park on a perfect day.

Just spent a long weekend camping at this beautiful state park. The sites are really well maintained, clean and spacious. The staff is really helpful and pleasant. The bathrooms were really clean. The best part is the quiet. Quiet hours are strictly maintained and I could hear nothing but nature sounds each night. Yes, there is some traffic noise, but it is background and does not detract from the beauty of the park. If you're interested in staying up late and partying, this is not the park for you. Will camp there again and again.

This is probably the most beautiful, well maintained State Park I have ever seen. I just walked through while hiking the AT, but this is a park I will return to when exploring VT!
