The ride up to Cafe Sora through the grounds of the Art Center is stunning. So I could easily say the scenery alone is worth a visit. But it gets even better. This small but
delightfully fresh cafe was a wonderful choice for a friend and me on a summer Saturday
afternooon. I had passed the sign for the cafe dozens of times...finally we decided to
try it out. No doubt it will become a favorite 'go to' spot for us. The owners, chef, and staff
are delightful. All from Japan and they prepare family recipes that are just deliciously
different. The decor is simple, clean and welcoming. The food was delicious. There are a few tables outside under a bright awning overlooking the greenery and lush surroundings. Our meals were tasty, so fresh, and delivered with a joy and pride that we could instantly feel! I had a sushi roll and ginger pork that came with miso soup and a small eggplant salad. My friend had the special gyoza appetizer and the ginger pork as well. We loved it all! Can't wait till next time!
